Family Day at Citi Pond at Bryant Park
Families, pets included, are invited to Citi Pond at Bryant Park’s Second Annual Family Day Event to celebrate and kick-off the holiday season by enjoying a day full of fun, family-friendly activities on Saturday, Nov. 12th. Highlights of the event include a performance by legendary jazz singer, Bob Dorough (of Schoolhouse Rock fame), live book reading of Christmas Feet, and a winter-themed pet fashion show! This Sunday, one of the most prestigious marathons in the world, as well as one of the largest (participation is actually limited to only 37,000 entrants), takes place in the streets of New York. The New York Marathon follows a 26.2 mile course through all five New York boroughs and starts on Staten Island, going over the Verazano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn and Queens.
